Earth Day 50th, The New York Times AD,

Details

Create a full page advertisement for the New York Times, in celebration of Earth Day's 50th anniversary.

Initially what I suggested extremely and very strongly,

was to approach the NYT ad with  a retro feel to pay tribute to the first Earth Day in the 1970s while keeping the ad modern and interesting. However, my vision did not align with higher management and went with the first image instead.

While in charge of the print ad, I was also tasked with creating online web ads.  Here I was given the opportunity

to incorporate more my previous vision.
